I haven't recieved the new issue yet, and I'm itching to know what the reviews were and winner of the test??!!

I am off to pick up the Denon AVR1910 from richersounds tomorrow and would like to know what rating it got

Was favouring the Yam or Denon but interested to see if the new pioneer is rated

Denon 1910 won. Sony 2400ES also got 5 stars. The rest got 4 stars.

Guess my prediction three weeks ago in a different post was correct then.....a UK tuned product should always win these things!!!!

Received my copy 30 mins ago, and would love to know how the Denon rates against the Yam 863SE? Obviously it beat the Yam 765 (4 stars) which is marketed between the old 763 and 863se, so does it mean it's better than the old Yam 863se, or on par with it?

Anyone know how good this Denon is with 2 channel stereo? The review was not as indepth as I had hoped. Worth the upgrade from an Onkyo 606?

Anyone help.....

My local dealer has just told me that the Denon 1910 'blows the yam 765 away', as well as the onkyo 607. He has had both in the demo room together, and even suggested it was better than the Yamaha 863SE!!!

Sales talk, or fact?

Was going to.......but he is out of stock of the Denon already!!!! (Hope this will not be a repeat of the Yamaha 863SE fiasco!)

He hopes to get them in at the end of next week, so will get a demo lined up then.....

Got mine in the hallway in its box waiting to be unleashed, got to wait for my daughter to go to bed at some point today so i can set it up.......

Can't wait to set this baby up!!!

Let us know your first impressions when you get set up.....

Are you going to be using the standard mains cable, or an upgraded one, like the Clearer Audio Copper alpha one? (Glad to see a receiver at this price point that gives you the choice, rather than having to cut the cable and add sockets!!)

Love to hear your thoughts with 2 channel stereo too......

I had the same thing said to me when i went to pick up my reserved sony strda2400es! I wonder if its the same RS or if they make more profit selling the other brands?

Can I ask what you use your Sony 2400ES with? Is it as good with 2 channel, as suggested?

Hi im using it with Quad L-ite speakers. It is very good with cd music from my panasonic bd35 blu ray. I also have it connected to my PC but its not as good maybe because the sound card in my PC is onboard.

I dont know how the Sony compares to the Denon 1910?
