Reciever not working right

Iv'e got a problem with the 875 not showing the correct audio output on the display. I have a panasonic bd35 player and when playing certain blu ray films it is only showing dolby digital when i have set the film (spiderman 1,2 and 3) to true hd.
I know its not the player as the film I am legend plays in true hd. I have also just purchased casino royal and this also is only showing dd on the display.

Is this a problem with the reciever or somthing else. Any help would be greatly apprieciated.

Have you set to bitstream and secondary audio to off?

Yes like i said a few films that will output dd true but most what i have wont. All spiderman and the omen no ddtrue, and both the fantastic 4 films will not show dts ma wheras the hills have eyes and ice age will. So is this a problem with the onkyo reciever and have other members had simular difficulties.
