re-soldering speaker relays....,is this difficult?

hi i have recently bought an old sony str db830qs a/v amp on e bay for 20 pounds all in working order apart from the rear lefr channelkeeps cutting in and out, i have scoured the net on this problem and have come across a few peolpe with the same amp and same problem....cold solder joints on the speaker relays and apparantly not a very difficult fix, so my thinking is th just touch up these joints to give this amp another 10 years life..maybe has anybody any experience on these things and maybe point me in the right direction ofn how to go about this. i recently bought the repair manual for this amp but isnt all to helpfull.
