Hi idc,
I know you have one of these amps and wondered what helped you decide to buy this model.
Is it the valve sound over SS amps or its' ability to drive difficult HPs? Or purely based on SQ?
Look forward to your answer, or indeed anyone elses' opinions about this subject.
Cheers Richard...d'oh!

IDC's on a break at the moment (no further discussion needed on that topic, please).

Anyone else care to comment? I haven't heard the headphone amp in question, so can't add anything - other than the usual suggestion that if you're interested in the product, why not try it out?

Well, jason36 certainly seems happy with his, ziggy47, and he's also listening with Grados.

Yep I have the V2 rather than the V8. Unfortunately I cant comment on the V8 from experience, but I would suggest it would be quite a step up from the V2. I believe the circuitry is a lot better in the V8.

You're right there, Rich, missed that. As he says, the v8 should sound better, but it depends whether you like it. Have you auditioned one yet?. Any sign of your bagels yet?

I have used some headphone amps, but i haven't tried this one. Are you looking for some bang for the buck amplifier?
