Question for Editors

When we bought our iMac 2 years ago, I took one look at Safari and determined never to use it again!

I should say though, that we have used Firefox (virtually since the first release) on all of our home machines and at work, (it has been a company directive to all employees for quite a while now).

IE is the web browser equivalent of running around a battlefield in pyjamas and Safari was just plain weird last time I looked! (Maybe they have improved it since.)

This should not be limited to Editors, the Kimber Select KS-1136....................

...............£1685 for half a metre.

I hope you are right - as I'm about to upgrade my KS1030 to the KS1136 (needing XLR balanced for my new amps) ..... always thought the 1030 was amazing - and still do ... but if this squeezes a little more out then yay!!

Cripes BigAir, I was joking. I have not heard such an interconnect and do not move in circles that mean I ever will.

I made good use of the upgrade scheme RA offers and my last interconnect is the KS1030 which is awesome. I compared it to many others at the time (mostly 1m lengths that other manufacturers do) and the 0.5m length was the one for me.

Now going to a new amp (pre/power) that will allow me to go balanced from my Ayre C5 cd player to the Moon P8 pre amp and W7 power amp I'm getting. Trouble is I'll also need an XLR between the pre/power arrrrghhh .....!

I think this i/c in XLR form will be the icing on my cake !

Best ever? Chord Crimson. No joke. I'd like to see it compared blind to any interconnect on the market.

In terms of sheer performance per pound and value for money I complete agree with you. Crimson is quite simply stunning for minimal outlay, although there are clear gains to be had from moving up to Chameleon Silver Plus.

would love to try the more expensive interconnects, but cannot afford to ... I settled for a cheap silver high breed coherence, after doing much research on other forums ...

cannot really compare it to any of the more expensive as I have not heard any on my system ... but silver high breed are very good for the money I paid ...

some people who have compared the silver high breed to others, say that the silver high breed are better than interconnects that cost £600+? (gave a link previously from another forum ... there was more than 6 pages of comments ... but was removed by the moderators)
