Question about Amplifiers

Does listening room size affect an Amplifiers ability to control a given speaker effectively?
Eg in a demo room larger than living room, will the same amp still have the same control, clarity, sharpness due to the change in the volume of room size?
Just thinking about AMP changes and not sure if the difference between Nait 5i and XS will be the same at home as in the Demo room. Which might direct me more to a Source change if this provide better bang for buck.

Yes very much so from my experience. Also depends on speaker sensitivity. Demo rooms are often not very good and different from your home which tends to have a lot more furniture and stuff in it, also floor and walls will make a difference so, I would get a home demo.
