Quad or Audiolab amp/streamer with Linton Heritage

Hi,
Can anybody tell me if there would be much difference between the Quad Vena II Play and the Audiolab 6000A Play (used with Wharfedale Heritage Lintons)?

I’ve demoed the Audiolab but I’ve been told the Quad may be slightly warmer in sound. I’ve also been told they’re both quiet similar. I can’t demo the quad hence asking here.

Also, if anyone has experience of using another amp with streamer combo that works well with the Lintons?
