It seems like it has been a while since Quad released any new products (other than speakers), anyone know if there is anything in the works?

Can't remember what/where but I'm sure I recently read that there was quite a bit of new product on the horizon from Quad.

There has been a lot of new(ish) Quad equipment - like this for £4500 - but mostly aimed at the well-heeled valve amp crowd.
They are also not too hot on updating their website as I recently found out.

They have a nice looking new integrated valve amp based on the Quad II monoblocks. Their 'performance' range is certainly long in the tooth but probably they see no point in tinkering with something that works well (the 909 is still better than a lot of new kit from many other brands in the same price range). Also, they may feel they got burned with their L2 speaker range which got poorish reviews (a bit unfairly I think).
