PS3 & Chord DAC?

I'm aiming to maximize the audio output of my PS3. It's fine for games but is there any way I can bring my DAC into play when I'm playing music BD orDVDs?

The obvious (and I've never seen a PS3 but from what I remember on here) is to connect to your lovely DAC by optical. I've only got one music BD (John Legend) and I found the bass using my receiver and listening through DTS HD was far too heavy. When I sent the feed to my DacMagic and out to my stereo amp it was great.

I posted the question before I bothered to look around the back of the PS3, and yes you're right, the optical option is available.

Just need a long, long cable to connect the two devices. Calling Maplins . . .
