PS3/BluRay Sound Prob...

Gear...Pioneer 428/PS3/Sony DAV-IS10/Sky HD Box...More than happy with my A/V system but I have a problem outputting 5.1 sound to my Sony A/V amp from my PS3..all my A/V gear is input to my TV via HDMI cables but because of this I can`t output sound to my Sony amp via the optical output on the TV as the Pioneer "wont" allow this...can anyone suggest a way to get around this problem?Obviously I can have full surround sound from my A/V amp when I play ordinary DVD`s and I have my Sky box connected to the Sony via an optical lead but as there is only one optical input to the Sony amp,I cant get surround sound from my PS3 to the amp...any help appreciated,David

Sounds like you need an optical switch box (if I understood what you meant!).
