could anyone help , which projector is the best- pioneer krf-9000fd or sony vpl-vw 60 or any other one in that price range .

Another one to look at would be the Mitsubishi HC7000. Ultra sharp LCD for less than £3k - pretty unbeatable as far as we're concerned! Did see a few alternatives at Bristol, but none impressed us after being used to the HC7000. It's also the quietest PJ on the market at the moment.
