IMO you wont get better than the Pansonic PTAE4000 at that price. The Sony HW15 is its main rival and they both fight it out for the top spot. The Sony appears brighter so if you have ambient light in the room that would be my choice. Otherwise the Panasonic excels with motion and is easier to place as it has fantastic lens shift.

If you can take your budget up a notch then the Mitsubishi HC7000 is another contender. Pin sharp image that is nice and bright as well as being almost silent in opertaion.

Hi Nick

Thanks for the reply! infact a quick search on the internet it showed that i can buy the Mitsubishi HC7000 , 200£ cheaper than the Panasonic AE4000, but than i read many artical about the mitsubishi not performing so well in an ambeintlight room , as is my room is not completly dark, i have dark curtin and so, but the light are still leaking a little bit on the edge,s of the curtin,s

If you can get the HC7000 for £1800 then I would grab that. RRP is £2650 so you are getting a serious reduction. I would check that it is an authorised seller you are buying from and that you are getting brand new UK stock.
