I really dont think (in my humble opinion) that the frequency of the refresh is that important.

On to more important details, definately get the projector mate, it is so much...more... in every way than a telly could ever be.

I have a Sanyo PLV-Z700, onto a Sapphire screen 9' wide, an Onkyo TX-SR805 and an AE Aegis Neo 7.1 speaker set.

It is simply fantastic mate!!

I have a cinema room, and with a large room, you wont do it justice with any TV you can afford, however, if your room is smaller, i would go for the telly.

Once you try a decent projector system, you wont go back though.

Hi 2cool

Take a quick look at this thread, which I started specifically for people who are looking to replace their TV with another one, and to give the option of considering a projector instead to get far more from their home cinema system. It was also started to dispell commonly held beliefs and rumours about projectors, and to address people's issues with installing or using them.

Motion is something which some people are susceptable to. The main projector in our demo room is the Mitsubishi HC6500, which is a similar price point to the IN80, but is LCD. This has some benefits over DLP projectors, but it's all down to the individual and the issues they see with picture.

As already mentioned, adding a projector to your system tranforms the whole experience, and brings the picture youre seeing up to size with the audio you're hearing. You'll never go back!
