Both excellent speakers. With the right system, either one of these speakers will give you years of pleasure. They both have their own characteristics, so an audition is highly recommended. While you're there I'd also recommend you try the ATC SCM40's. They're a little harder to drive than the other two due to their lower than average sensitivity, so will need an amp with a little more current than normal. Which amplifier do you own? Or were you looking at matching amps as well?

I was planning to change my ProAc's Studio 110 for something better to match Nait XS. I will listen to D18 and (ex-demo) D28 to see which one is the kind I like. Will have to check if I the dealer has A6 on stocks.

By the way, what do you think about D28? I was thinking that it would be better to hold on to these ex demo models (don't know the price yet) rather than D18 new!

Thanks!

Hi BB

If you like the Proac sound and can get the D28 ex demo at a good price than go for it. They are alot better than the D18 and will be even better suited to future upgrades around them.

Thanks

The D28's are a better speaker, and will be a longer term item for your system. The main thing to take into account is that they are bigger, and will need a little more breathing space compared to the 18's. An XS will drive them fine.

Thank you both!! I apppreciate your help. Heard that they are excellent! The room is about 7m x 14m, but they will probable be positioned to cover the narrow (7m) side of the room. Hope that they will work fine when placed that way?

Hi BBg

As long as there is sufficient room around them than it will be fine otherwise the bass might start to end up getting itself in a twist.

Thanks
