Rear speakers wont produce white noise, any suggestions has to what it could be? Have checked speakers and they work in other channels. Just cant get any form of noise out of the two rear channels. speakers are tannoy eyris. Help would be really appreciated.

Sounds like they're not on!
In the setup menu/speaker config, make sure they're set to 'Small' or 'Large', as opposed to 'None'?

Then you might be a bit stuck. Is it worth doing a 'factory reset' to make sure nothing's been fiddled with, and start the setup again?
