Hi,

The front tubes on my itube 252 amp are dimmer than the ones at the back i.e the big ones. I've had this amp for 2 months now. Could this mean the tubes are dying and need replacement? If it is the case.. how easy is it to replace them? It looks to me like they might be burning out.... I hope not!!!

i've had really good results with swapping my tubes for better ones on my carbon - something you could look into - you don't need to swap them all find out the ones that are used in the pre amp - not the power tubes and don't worry about the 6E2 as doesn't effect the sound just there to look pretty - they are plenty of matched sets on ebay

should mention that fatman would class this as a modification and invalidates your warranty - however they just pull straight out and if you needed to send back just put originals back in - just make sure you replace with same family of tubes
