Poorer HD image for sport since 3D started?

Do you agree with me that since sky has rolled out 3D for sport that the picture quality has reduced in HD. Football pitch not as clear and stable as before and the Ryder cup quality in some of the greens transmissions were very poor.

Do you mean the HD quality on the 3D channel? If so PQ will be reduced as it's essentially two 960 x 1080i frames being displayed side-by-side.

In which case, can't say i've noticed. If there has been a drop in PQ on the sports HD channels it must be coincidental as the sports channels are broadcast from different transponders to the 3D channel.

The 3D channel is on the same TXP as Sky Arts HD and Sky News HD, so it would be those channels that would be effected.
