PLINIUS 9200 WITH MONITOR AUDIO PL200

Hello to All.

I recently bought a Plinius 9200 and I´m starting to look at speakers to conect to this integrated amplifier.

Anybody already heard the combination Plinius 9200 and Monitor Audio PL200?? I think that the smooth sound of the Pl200 will suit well on the Plinius Sound.

Will the Plinius 9200 do Justice to the PL200 or are these speakers too good for the Plinius?

Help me on this one.

I've heard a 9200/PL200 and this combination works a treat :rockout: Like with most speakers you can get even higher level of performance from the PL200's by using higher quality of amplification (Hiato, SA-103, etc.) however the Plinius 9200 amplifier has still got more than enough quality of power and performance to be paired with PL200 speakers. Fwiw, one of my clients is also happily using a 9200/PL200 combination 🙂

I haven't heard the MA PL200 but my Plinius 9200 sounds absolutely wonderful with my Magnepan MG12's. The MG12's present a very difficult load and need lots of current to drive them to realistic levels. The Plinius handles them with great aplomb and I would assume should have no difficulty in driving speakers like the MA PL200.

I run pl300's from a full plinius set up and it's awesome. I'd say they are a perfect match. Audioquest or atlas cables compliment well too. Avoid chord as they can make things too bright.
