AS all the speakers still need power cables, it's hard to see what is to be gained by using WiSA.

It depends if you have power sockets near to each speaker. Instead of signal cables for rear, side speakers half way around your room you only need a short power lead. Less effort than fitting trunking in shirting boards to hide the cables.

I have active speakers that have both mains and wired analogue cables going into them. Speakers with remotes also have a lead between the primary and secondary. WiSA enables remote control with no signal or control cabling needed.
