Hi,I am getting a new tv for the conservatory(see other post),now in my lounge I have a panasonic 42 inch v10,which I am very happy with.

now I have been looking for a new tv for the conservatory, but now I am thinking should I put the v10 in conservatory and get a new tv for the loung, the only thing is should I be putting a plasma in conservatory with the differences of temperature and glair.

I have a large south facing conservatory and it gets extremely hot, even with AC in there. I went for an 32" LCD in the end and it copes with the heat and reflections without issue. And it's White so the aesthetics look bang on too.

I did try my old plasma from the lounge a pioneer 507XD and it was pretty much unwatchable, I had to use the vivid setting when the sun was out. The reflections really bounced off the screen ( our conservatory is a P shape) from all angles. Newer sets with reflection filters may cope better. Hope this helps.

The other thing I did notice was the glass screen got amazingly hot ( does not happen with my LCD) and my 2nd old actually burnt her hand on it slightly, maybe should have mentioned that earlier.

I'm using the plasma in my bedroom now and there are certainly no visible problems and the set was in there all last summer.
