placement of non shielded speakers

Can anyone tell me if placing non magneticly shielded speakers close to a plasma tv will have any damaging effects ?

yes it will when you place them too close the colour from your tv will start to bleed from the corners ...so that cant be good

either change your speakers or keep them a fair distance

Mmmmmmmmm good question and a good reply , but I wonder ?

The magnets in speakers only affect CRT Tubes on TV's so I am going to stick my neck out and say that Plasma is immune , backed up by there not being any need to degausss Plasma

I.m sure WHF will correct any mistake on my part , of course please have my thought confirmed , wouldnt want you TV damaged by my ignorance
