You're coming to the Bristol Show, aren't you? Well, Pioneer are there (yes, despite all the news from the past week), and I hear there'll be some juicy discounts on offer.

I'd shop around over the next couple of days and then see what's on offer at Bristol, before you buy.

I would check that whoever give you the price you like can actually get you stock as well. The LX81 is very thin on the gorund.

There is more to it than just the price but I see where you are coming from. The way back orders are right now it could be months rather than weeks - it is just a word of caution not a sales pitch. There are plenty of unhappy Yamaha customers around who got a good deal on the web and are waiting months for the stock.

remember what nick says it's not all about price... wait till you try and set it up and see if the cheapest supplier will be there to support you when you have a boatfull of set up questions

Take it from me I have one and wish I had gone to Nick...only thing is he is hundreds of miles away from me so dealing with the HomeCinemaCentre was'nt really possible

Good Luck

We regularly travel all over the country, it is only a flight away after all. It is probably quicker to get to you than it is to some of our customers in the north of Scotland.

I bought one from Audio T a couple of weeks ago for £1282.00 as they pretty much matched an online price I gave them details on. Stlll waiting for the unit though, only one more week to go

.

Also bought the BDP-LX71 a week later and they gave me a better price that I could find anywhere on the internet by £70. I will always give them the option to match and I know where to go if I have any problems.

Hi johnnymunro, hopefully I helped as well.
I must agree, the manual is confusing to say the least, but once set up, exellent.
Are all your problems sorted now?
If not let me know.

Well here's the basic Bristol Show discount info, and we'll add more specific deals when we find them out Thursday night/Friday morning

Didn't stop me dealing with Nick ! I had a really bad demo from a dealer in Southampton of the Pio and was not treated very professionally.

So after several conversations with Nick which started on the forums here and over the phone, 3 weeks later, the amp turned up ! Waiting nearly killed me ! Nick is a top man !

I did say the South coast was crying out for a good dealer !

Juicy enough to make it worth the trip from Manchester? I'm shopping for a new TV and would certainly make the trip if it meant snaffling a bargain. Any plans to hold one of these shows up North?ÿ

Yep, Audio-T are running the Manchester Sound and Vision Show in mid-October, at the Renaissance Hotel (opposite Harvey Nicks).
