Pioneer PDP-LX5090 / BDP-LX71 set up.

I use both the PDP5090 & the BDPLX71 set up straight from the box,What would be the main benefit of a complicated series of adjustments.? any advice please.

An accurate picture. Absolutely impossible to do by eye but you might find one you like personally by playing with it.
