Having procrastinated about buying a Pioneer Krp500a for far too long, I can't find one anywhere. Any suggestions as to whwere I might get one or, if I have missed the boat, which plasmas are the (second) best alternative?
I had a 500A on order for months. Time went on and on. And they were getting harder and harder to get (with no sign of mine arriving). The 600A although more available were also getting snapped up. In the end I cancelled my 500A order and ordered a 600A.
Be warned if you do go for the 60" one, they are HUGE.
If you want the either the 5090 or the KRP-600A, hurry up, they wont be around for much longer either.
might be of no use but seven-oaks dubin and richersounds belfast `may be worth a look i get my 600a finaly nxt week but have to collect myself due to courier problems with richersounds, theres also a pionneer dealer in glassneven dublin have them but cant think of name. ps good luck.
The LX5090 is available at Currys (not quite as good as the 500a but very close), they don't have any on show but if you go and enquire about one, they have stock. Good thing is that they are selling with the pedestal stand and speaker/s for £1899, which is way cheaper than anywhere else, they will throw in delivery as well if you barter. I know cos I just got one......hurry though, the shop I went to only had 6 left.
Dentist:Thanks for the advice everyone. Took delivery of a PDP-LX5090 from RGB Direct yesterday. £1965 delivered with a five year warranty. Allocated tomorrow to move PDP-434HDE to children's playroom and replace with LX5090. Any suggestions for HDMI cable to go with it?
