pioneer 507xd speakers humming !!!

hi my brother in law has the 507xd with speakers attached that are now giving out a low humming noise.

its definatley the speaker output causing the problem as if you disconnect the speakers all is fine. also the hum increases with the volume from the tv.

ive checked all speaker wire and used different speakers and wire, but it remains the same.

any ideas anybody ???????
