I want to buy a new 37-40" LCD TV. Not sure which brand/model to go for. Any recommendations?

Have been interested in looking at the Philips 37PFL9604 but can't seem to find a stockist in my area, (West Mids)

Ive got an older Samsung and im a bit dissapointed with it, but the newer models are fantastic but top end are fairly expensive as is the Philips. Value for money would be the Sony W5810 at under £800 it all depends on your budget the new Philips got great reviews the 40PFL9704, so a demo is a must but finding the Philips will be hard normally sold in JL and M&S, that would be my choice. Price is £1799 which is top whack for a 40" lcd so you may need to look at the Sony z5500 or Samsumg 8000 series. But don't rush new models will arrive early spring so more saving can be done if needed.

I have just bought an LED samsung and whilst in John Lewis today I was curious to review my TV against others.

Fortunately there was a Samsung Sony Z and Philips 9664 along side each other in a row and without doubt the Samsung was the best.

You can ring the Philips customer Helpline on 0870 9009070 and they'll find your nearest stockist for you. Or you can take a look at the Philips online store.
