Philips 21.9 cinema TV

I have been viewing the Philips web site and see that they are about to launch the new 21.9 cinema TV. Does anyone know much about it yet and more importantly what it is expected to cost ?

Surely with that sort of budget you would be better off buying say a 40-50" tv for normal viewing, and a very nice projector and screen for movies.

If I had £4500 to spend I would be looking to spend say upto £2k on a new amp and speaker combo, and the rest on a decent projector with a screen.

Unless you have more money than sense I can't really see much of a market for the new Philips, not when you can spend considerably less on big screen thrills from a projector. But what do I know.

and deep pockets , at least sharps latest 9k tv apparently has the best picture and sound yet , 4.5k for a tv thats shaped a little different ?? erm , phillips , theres an economic crisis , erm , have you heard ??
