PC speaker placement

I have a pair logitech Z10s...2.0 speakers.

I was wondering what would be a good seperation distance between the two speakers. and placement of the speakers in general. thx in advance.

My Logitech V10 speakers are about 3 inches either side of the laptop on the desk. The rules of placement for such speakers is the same as for any speakers. You want them to about the same height as your head, hence such speakers sit tilted back so they point up at your head and you want to be in the sweet spot where, if you drew a line out of each one the lines would cross.
