ok thanks,With what ive already read im tempted, ive seen it priced at a £1000 not bad for a 42" ! considering the new sony 40z4500 is about £300 more.

Hi Bullitt

My understanding is that the G15 models have DNLA capability, but not the G10 models, as we reported in our 2009 Panasonic TV roundup. At least that was what Panasonic told me at the time.

I think the smart networking referred to on the Panasonic website is Viera Link, Panasonic's proprietary control system. But if you look carefully at the tech specs, there's no mention of DNLA networking capability on the TX-P42G10. More range details here.

Will confirm all this in our May Supertest as Simon mentions.

Thanks for the info andy, i have read that european version of the G10 have a different spec with regards to colour management, i.e the uk G10 models doesnt have any!, i thought we were europe now ! mmm confused! but although this seems to be true the review i read for the TXp42g10 gave it a thumbs up, can you shed any light on this ? thanks.

(The G10B have white balance controls on the PC VGA input only, which is not a lot of use)

Andy Clough:Given the level of interest, we've just published our exclusive online review of the Panasonic TX-P42G10. Check it out for our full verdict.

Nice one andy thanks for this review, you couldnt have timed it better, now then i have a question pana 46 pz81 or txp42g10 ? cos i cant afford the 46 in the g10.
