I have this tv but our taste may differ. So I'd suggest you get a hold of one of the Pixar movies with the THX pages. Set your tv to those 'ideal settings' then adjust accordingly.
out the box this tv has a pretty good picture so only minor adjustments are required mainly the contrast and colour maybe the sharpness too.
The enhancements/advanced settings just try them and decide what you prefer.
thankfully its not a complicated tv to set up.
