How do the blacks compare to the KRP Kuros?

The measurements I have seen for Kuro 9th generation and VT30 are quite comparable. The gab has been closed, and more importantly, shadow details are not sacrifised as a result.

i`ve heard the blacks still arent as good as the pioneer:shame: but do the full led backlit lcds come close to the plasma brigade i.e The HX923 range ? it is currently the best sony set what hi fi have tested... the 46"
