Hi this might be a stupid question, i bought this Panny NeoPDP 600hz plasma on saturday.
the picture is great with a dvd (albeit upscaled on a blu disc player), but the std TV picture (via an aged telewest broadband digibox) using a good quality SCART, is really not great (the box has been set on widescreen, as has the plasma display, this has helped, but a std picture (upgrading to virgin media +HD next week), appears very grainy and lacking in clarity, i'm new to this scene as my previous telly was a 100Hz panny quintrix CRT. so im not sure what to expect, is it that i am experiencing the amalgam of old box, via scart. and when i get the new system and view using HDMI, all will become clear, or is this a fact of life that new flat screen lcd/plasma screen show up the deficiencies of the boradcast and recording medium, or do i have a duff friday afternoon panel?
sorry if this is the most dumbass question ever, but i'd appreciate some help.
(im guessing now, but if the picture is okay on the blu disc via HDMI, then its likely to be the box/scart/broadcast?)
thanks, dave
