Panasonic TX-L37E30B or Sony 37EX503?

I'm after a 37 inch TV for the kitchen. Which one would you go for?? Has anyine had both?
I like the 'thinness' of the Panasonic but it is dearer and the Sony won a lot of awards?

I found the SD pictures on the Sony 37EX503 to be too soft. I haven't seen the Panasonic 37E30B, but if it's anywhere close to last year's D25/D28 series', then that'll be the TV I'll choose.

so maybe worth considering one of the D25/D28 ones then as there may be some deals to be had?? What is the difference between the 25 and the 28? (and don't say 3!)
