Is it good enough to watch sport and movies on it?

Most definitely yes, as you can read here. But you might also want to consider the plasma TH-37PX80B, which is even more of a bargain, and plasmas tend to have the edge over LCD when it comes to handling fast motion.

Chris ...so far so good. Set delivered yesterday......well happy.

Setup out of the box is pips and after some advice from the WHF review[amongst others],tuning and tweaking was a breath of fresh.

Picture and sound are both stunning and whole unit feels like class.

All a matter of taste, I know but as per ultimate guide, set to ECO viewing mode and COOL colour managment.Switch to CINEMA for DVD and switch OVERSCAN off for movies on disc. All these settings are individuallly saveable. Some broadcasts can look alittle "artificial" but reducing the sharpness in the picture mode does the trick.

Got mine from C***YS for £820 but only 1 yr Panasonic Warranty.

Hope this helps.Would recommend this telly.
