First off, hi all. Longtime reader, first time poster.

I recently purchased Panasonic SC-BTT755EBK because of the review it got here and because of my budget.

All in all i am happy with the system. So far i can get sound from it when playing discs/USB attatched device/ipod dock and i also have my xbox 360 hooked up via optical cable and sound is good that way.

After browsing through the manual i was trying to figure out how to get the sound from my tv through my cinema system too and it said i would need an audio/phono cable. So i've purchased one and hooked it up and set the cinema system to AUX as per the manual but for the life of me i cannot get any sound from tv to output.

I can't help feel that it is perhaps something i am overlooking, failing that i can only think that either my system is faulty or the audio cable i bought is faulty.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Also if it helps the tv that i have is a Philips 32PFL5522D.

Thanks again,

it seems you need a scart to phono as the two sets of Phonos on the back are INs.

Hi, is it possible to help please?

I too have bought the SC-BTT755EBK. I have a sky HD box and a Toshiba 37WLT68 - the guide of which is located at http://dl.owneriq.net/8/8db19d83-897b-4e79-9aab-9b8856a37216.pdf

I am a novice at setting up these devices and am struggling to get my new surround system to output the sky sound from my sky box. Everything else works. I have attached the Sky box to the TV using a HDMI 1 (and an HDMI cable) and the surround sound to the TV using another HDMI (on HDMI2). I have a fibre optic cable and also a red and white phono to phono cable. Any ideas please?

Many many thanks
