I am looking at getting a projector and was wondering whitch one of these would be best for what i want, it will be just for blu-ray and dvd's viewing from about 4 metres. Also what size screen would be best from this distance.

It might be worth giving the Mitsubishi HC6500 a viewing along with these projectors. So far they're the sharpest projectors we've seen, with excellent black levels to boot.

As for the size of the screen, the normal rule is about 1.5 or 2x the screen width - this can be increased a little for HD, but DVD will look a little ropey. I'm looking at getting a bigger screen than I really need in my room, as most of my viewing is HD nowadays, and I no longer invest in SD.

I'd take the Infocus and think 80in+ for the screen (again, you can go large if you're majoring on HD).

If the Infocus is a little pricey, then check out the Sanyo PLV-Z700 - outpoints the Panasonic in the projector test in our current, April issue.....
