My uncle would like a 37 inch panasonic tv, does anyone know the best 37 inch panasonic there are.

Either plasma or lcd, any recommendations would be great.

After looking in the review section the Tx L37G15 got great reviews when the price was £1149 a quick google shows that Curry's are doing an online deal only for a bargain £699, great if your Uncle intends to use the the built in Freesat, other than that there's the S10 and then you look at plasma x,s, g range. Another good price is the Tx P37X10B at £440 at Amazon budget plasma but ok for freeview and dvd's. My money's on the Tx L37G15 seems to be hundred pounds cheaper then anywhere else but be quick as these deals don't stick around for long.

Panasonic themselves and their independant stockists are offering Panasonic 5yr warranties. Chekc the listings though as Panasonic have a list of machines the warranty applies to but dealers like Sevenoaks are not listing it as available for all those models.

The big highstreet chains have their own warranty policies up to 3yrs while Richersounds offer 5yrs on all TV's for 10% of the original purchase cost.

We have purchased the Panasonic TXP37X10. When auditioning it in stores we found it to outperform the LCD sets for Freeview in particular and now we have it how that continues to ring true. We've yet to test it with DVD as I need to retrieve my component cable from the front-room to give it a fair running.

The auditions also showed that for HD the LCD's were clearly better so it's definitely dependant on what you want to watch.

not unless they include a 5yr warranty from Panasonic (probably not....). Amazon would just include a 12 month guarantee, unless stated

I couldn't agree more! Time and time again I fail to understand why people buy expensive LCD screens that are simply no match for this plasma screen. I even disagree that HD content is better on the LCD screens at this screen size.

For 37 inches Panasonic TXP37X10 is the best TV you can get in my opinion.
