Outdoor Spekers ?

Hi Folks as per above subject wondered if anyone had these and if so can they connected to any other ( via boselifestyle sa3 stero amp ) Manufactuer of Reciever or does it have to be via the lifestyle range. The onlyother bose product i have is the 1st generation soundock ? ( Current Recieverwuld be the sony strdg-820 )

Given that they are passive speakers, needing to be driven by an external amplifier, and have conventionall trailing wire connections, which can be connected to normal speaker cable using the 'nuts' supplied, these speakers can be used with any receiver or amplifier.

Hi Andrew thanks for your reply !

Does this mean they would be connected via the speaker cable to the recievers normal speakers output connections ? would they have to be fitted certain output conections ?

Yes, connected to normal speaker outputs using wire of your choice, which attaches to the captive wires on the speakers using the 'nut' connectors supplied with the speakers.
