Out of sync issue

System:

Samsung UE48H6400, Pioneer VSX-920, B&W MT50 5.1, Sony BDP-S360, SkyHD+, Lindy remote extenders over HDMI.

Set-Up:

everything running through the receiver via HDMI. Sky box to receiver, blu ray to receiver, tv to receiver, IR sensor into TV via HDMI, and remote extenders fanning out from receiver. HDMI 1 driving all of this.

Problem:

had my set up installed a week ago and have noticed that the sound and picture are out of sync (by about half a second - with the sound preceding the picture). Annoying and off-putting at the moment.

TV is brand new, receiver was bought off the previous owner of the house (I moved recently). All set up professionally a week ago.

ANY TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS OR REMEDIAL ADVICE GRATEFULLY RECEIVED.

I've recently upgraded to a Tivo and have the same issues. In my Arcam if you go into the Menu there is a lip synch function which you can alter to match picture/sound. It works well but Tivo has very different sound levels between normal tv and HD and also synch issues, so I use it almost every day. Which is jolly annoying!
