Onkyo TX SR706 and Onkyo TX SR806

I’ve been wondering, there hasn't been much mention of some of the other new Onkyo offerings on the forum, such as the Onkyo TX SR 706 (£490) or the Onkyo TX SR 806 (£590 on special).

Are there any plans by WHF to to review these two AV receivers and are they any good? They may be an option for some as they offer THX which the Yamaha 863SE doesn't

They're as good, if not slightly than the previous models, and as you say, have THX where many other manufacturers don't. For those that want this feature, they're an excellent buy for the money, especially at the reduced prices.

They might also be an option for soemone looking for enough power to driver certain speakers but don't have the budget for the Onkyo TX SR876
