Sorry !

Has Anyone been able to pass Ethernet over HDMI ? I have internet coming into my Amp and a connect Pana DMP-320 Blu-Ray. Isn't the idea that it should pass through Ethernet (Internet) ?

Only if both the amp and blu-ray player support that function. I might be wrong (and I'm certainly not going to bother to check first) but I don't think any manufacturer has actually implemented Ethernet over HDMI.

You'd also need your cable to support that function - a standard High Speed HDMI cable doesn't - you need the one which states High Speed with Ethernet on it.

Even then, as The_Lhc says, I don't think anyone has actually implemented this feature into their products as yet, making it fairly academic.
