Hi all

i purchased this system in December for my wifes Xmas pressie, I'm really happy with it, but, I'm looking for some replacement speakers, around the same size as the ones that come with it but with a bit more weight and better sounding and looking (the slanty back thing just doesn't do it for me lol) probably a wood finish but doesn't have to be, I'm on a pretty tight budget so any suggestions from around £80 - £120, i know its not alot but there we go, is it possible to get a better pair for this amount, perhaps i can pick them up at the show on Sunday, thanks in advance

I think the Q Acoustic 1010 speakers would be a good match, I have the 1020's on my CR-515 and they sound great. The 1010's should fit both budget and size.

My top choice would be Wharfedale Diamond 9.0 for £70-75. They are the same price as Tannoy F1s and similarly top rated, but look very good in addition to sounding good. Tannoys look a bit cheap to me - stop by a local RicherSounds to check them out.

Both avaialble at Superfi, too : http://www.superfi.co.uk/index.cfm/page/moreinfo.cfm/Product_ID/2196

Hi all thanks for the help, i went to the show today expecting more stalls actually selling stock, still, had a good look round and listned to some amazing systems, had a great day.

speaker wise i actualy went for the Roth Oli 2 speakers, i tried all 3 systems out and although i prefered the bigger bottom end sound from the larger oli 3 the oli 2`s fitted my requirements and wifes needs lolol more, i have them set up now using cable talk 3.1 cable, and they sound great, much much better than the ones that came with the system so im a very happy chappie oh and i only paid £75.00 for them and had a five year warranty, and some in ear headphones thrown in.
