Yet another glowing review for an oled tv

http://www.hdtvtest.co.uk/news/55ea980w-201312083487.htm

yet the same tv gets four stars from what hifi

http://www.whathifi.com/review/55ea980w

the same happened with the samsung

http://www.hdtvtest.co.uk/news/ke55s9c-201310273395.htm

and four stars from what hi fi

http://www.whathifi.com/review/samsung-ke55s9c

is this purely down to the fact that what hifi base part of their review on quality for the retail price, or if I remember in another thread that whereas hdtv test calibrate the tvs what hifi use a thx disk optimizer from a blu ray or dvd to set up the tv. Could this also show the benefits of professional calibration?

I have seen the Samsung and for me it is only a 4 star TV, the black levels aren't that impressive.

The two OLED TVs receive four star reviews because they're difficult to recommend when much cheaper televisions offer comparable performance.

What Hi-Fi reviews are often about performance versus price.
