I hardly use CD's anymore but my old Technics slp222a has just about had it.
Not looking to spend much over £100 on eBay or similar.
Any recommendations ?
Going with a Cambridge cx80 and Burchard Audi speakers

Marantz CD6000OSE is a good catch if you can find one. Really well-built units with easy-to-source transport assembly.
Been using one for years now, bought secondhand and it's not missed a beat yet.

That would be a good buy.
I'm happy with my KI version of the CD6000OSE.
Looks and sounds as good as the day I bought it, 18 years ago.

Brilliant getting my self a fully working marantz 6000 osd for a bargain price.
In the pictures it's a ki signature one.
Were they much better on this model ?
Thanks for the recommendation 👍
Good for you!
When new, the OSE was £300, the KI was £500. The extra money bought you a few 'critical' component changes (and some smart copper plating!)
I predict you will be very happy with how your discs sound on it.
