Took a gamble this week and snapped up an ex-service Marantz CD6002 for under £120. So far so good. Got the item home. Connected it, powered it, sounds great! However, the draw is stuck in the closed position. Very disappointing, particularly as I made a point of asking them to check the item over before despatching it to me. So, my question is, what's the best option:
1. Decide it's been a lucky escape and a warning, and get my money back
2. Take item into nearest store and get them to send it off to their workshop in ?Heywood? - what are the odds on them being able to fix it.
3. Get them to exchange for alternative item e.g. CD5003, Cambridge 340C, etc.
Anyone have any experience of having to send items back to them for repair?
Cheers...
