Now or wait on 50 inch

I have been interested in the TH 50PZ70 and think it is about right for me. And i think if I am quick I can pick it up for about 1200. Assuming I am going to use it for Sky HD mainly, my question is whether I wait for the new version or just go with this one. Am I likely to get a better picture given the extra I am going to have to pay when they come out in a month or two? What is the equivalent TH 50PZ80 or is it 85 I cant tell. Any advice is appreciated. ......or other better model available now recommended also appreciated. (and dont give me the guff about a Pioneer...) thanks

but anyway the TH50PZ70B is at a good price atm id say go for it

If your happy with a 720p set (depends how far you sit from the set) you can get the Panny TH50PX7 from Richer Sounds for £699!!
