Normal 100hrz tv with blue ray ?

Hi I am planning to buy a bleu ray player but whant to find out if I first have to upgrade my tv. I currently have a Sony 100htz tv running component. Will my picture quality improve or must I rather first buy a LCD tv that is hd ready?

The point of Blu-ray is that the discs have enough capacity to hold HD picture and sound. You will need a TV that can handle HD to get any significant upgrade. So the answer is yes.

Think you probably better with lcd or plasma . I'm sure others on here will advise you the same but i maybe wrong i have been before just ask the wife! lol
