The perils of buying used stuff from a person rather than a shop...

Take it to the shop and see if they'll fit a new wire/plug...
Are you Vicky Pollard?
are you able to offer advice or merely banal comments...
to the OP, what brand are the headphones? have you tried emailing them? if not, then send them an email ommiting the fact you didnt buy them new and that you need to replace/repair the leads. i would be very surprised if they didnt tell you where you could find someone to carry out the procedure.

My dear boy, try lightening up a little and join in a bit of light-hearted banter with us all. There was no punctuation in the OP's opening post so I thought he sounded like that Vicky Pollard character. I also thought about posting 'and breathe out...' Anyone else have a problem with that?

audio technica ATH-ES7 retail price just under £100 on line all that is wrong is that the cable is ripped inside just at the bottom about 5 inches from the jack i dont want a different make model i prefer this ones top the grados because this ones are sealed and hold the sound better in the train and noisy enviroment please advise Andrew

In which case clicky here. Or any competent repairer should be able to cut off the cable above the break and solder on a new plug for you.

Try putting 'audio repair' and your postcode into yell.com.

Andrew as always you are the man ,thanks mate i how you a pint actualy its probably 100 pints

called audio thechnica today and i was glad to find out that for £25 it will all be sorted including vat labor cable and maling expenses very kind and helpful service aswell
