New Wall Sockets For Home Cinema

I'm looking to get some new sockets installed in 3 rooms aswell as 2 single sockets changed to triple sockets. Since I know nothing about electrics, is there anything I should be specifically looking out for to ensure I get the best electricity supply for my HC's arround the house?

Just be sure they're added to the ring rather than just spurred off.

I'm no electrician, but if re-wiring is it best to have a direct and dedicated feed from the main distribution panel with its own fuse/breaker? Especially if all your HC kit is located in one room and power sockets would be localised to the kit.

I am sure that Wireman can reply with more authority on this.

And if a direct feed is the right way to go, is a mains conditioner (Tacima) still required - AVR nothwithstanding?
