I'm moving house soon and i'm thinking of downsizing my system. I have a sony 370 bluray player, sony DA2400es receiver and an old set of mission M7s cinema speakers. I'm torn between whether i should replace my mission speakers with something like the Boston acoustics speakers or replace the whole system with an all in one sony system to save space and cables. Will an all in one package sound as good as my system with the boston speakers or would it be a waste of money ? Any advise please.

In your postion I would just change the speakers for a sub/sat set up. You have a decent BD player and amp.

An all in one system will not be as good as the kit you have at the moment.

Agreed!! The cables are still going to be going to all the speakers. Only behind the unit is where you will save space. A smaller speaker package will def be the answer!

It's more because the change in property. I don't want a mess of wires all over but i want good sound. I'm hoping the Boston acoustics give a better sound stereo and surround than my old missions and they are certainly better looking than my ugly M7s. Ive never seen any reviews of my missions so never knew if they were quality or not. I wish i had kept my castle tay system' that was fantastic but took up too much room in my small house.
